Tandra Vinod Rao, a businessman-turned-politician from Thimmampeta village in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, has won the BJP MP ticket for Khammam Lok Sabha constituency. This decision was made after careful consideration by the BJP, given tough competition for seats in Warangal and Khammam.
Rao was born on July 24, 1972, in Thimmampeta. He completed his education in Paloncha and Hyderabad Osmania University. After working in business, he shifted to social work and has been involved with various voluntary organizations for over a decade, along with his association with the RSS.
Despite expectations raised by the recent joining of former MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao, Vinod Rao’s active participation and contributions to party activities earned him the ticket for the MP seat.
