The BJP leaders in Khammam district are feeling confused and unhappy because the party has not yet announced its candidate for the Khammam Lok Sabha seat. This delay has caused a lot of speculation and questions among party members.

One of the main concerns among the leaders is the BJP’s alliance with Jana Sena in the recent Assembly elections. Jana Sena ran for four Assembly seats in the former Khammam district, but did not win any, which has left BJP leaders feeling unsatisfied with the alliance.

Although the BJP high command has announced candidates for 15 Lok Sabha seats, including two pending seats in Khammam and Warangal, the delay in announcing the candidate for the Khammam seat has led to rumors that it might be given to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which is strong in the district.

Meanwhile, TDP leaders are also hoping to win the Khammam Lok Sabha seat with support from BJP and Jana Sena. This news has caused a lot of discussion on social media and among political circles.

The possibility of BRS MP Nama Nageswara Rao, who was previously with TDP, being invited to join BJP has added to the uncertainty among BJP ticket aspirants in Khammam. Many had expected former MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao to be announced as the candidate after he joined the party, but that has not happened.

Instead, the candidate for the Mahabubabad Lok Sabha seat was announced as former BRS leader and ex-MP Professor Seetaram Naik, who joined BJP with Jalagam. This has led local BJP leaders to think that the party may be considering alliances similar to those in Andhra Pradesh to secure the Khammam Lok Sabha seat.
