BJP leader Bandi Sanjay has written a letter to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy about the movie ‘Rajakar’. In the letter, Bandi Sanjay asked the CM to exempt the movie from entertainment tax and to show it to school and college students. He praised the film for showing the struggles of the people of Telangana under the rule of Razakar.
Bandi Sanjay also mentioned in his letter that the movie portrays the efforts to free Telangana from Nizam’s rule, the sacrifices of warriors against the Rajakars, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s role in bringing liberation to the region. He congratulated the director, producers, and crew for presenting such a meaningful film to the people of Telangana.
The BJP leader emphasized the importance of supporting those who create such impactful movies and suggested that exempting ‘Rajakar’ from entertainment tax would send a positive message to the public. He also urged the Chief Minister to organize special screenings for school and college students, believing that the film’s message could inspire today’s generation.
In addition, Bandi Sanjay expressed concern about attempts to disrupt the screening of ‘Rajakar’, a film with significant historical content. He called on the government to take immediate action to ensure that informative films like ‘Rajakar’ are shown in as many theatres as possible.
