The SSC public examination in Telangana will have strict rules against malpractice. Students and invigilators who copy or cheat will face disciplinary action. Last year, there were many cases of malpractice reported, so this year, the Board of Secondary Education is taking extra precautions.
Students taking the Class X exams will now have five extra minutes to enter the examination center. Over 508,000 students, including 257,952 boys and 250,433 girls, will be taking the exam across Telangana. The exams will be held from March 18 to April 2 in 2,676 centers.
The exams will start at 9:30 am, and students must be in the center by 9:35 am. Most exams will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, except for the first language composite course and science subjects, which will end at 12:50 pm. There are 30,000 invigilators appointed, and CCTV cameras will be in place at all centers.
Officials have emphasized the importance of preventing malpractice during the exams. Strict action will be taken against any student caught cheating, and invigilators will also be held accountable. District and Mandal Educational Officers will also be responsible for any malpractice in their jurisdiction. Flying squads with officers from different departments will monitor the exams.
To ensure a smooth exam process, Section 144 will be enforced near exam centers. Facilities like water, medical staff with kits, and RTC buses for transportation will be available. A control room has been set up to assist students with any issues they may face during the exams. Students can contact the control room for help.
