The second national doctoral conclave with the theme ‘Exploring New Frontiers in Research’ took place at the Department of Commerce, Osmania University in Hyderabad. Faculty members, research scholars, and supervisors from various universities in Telangana, as well as a scholar from the University of Mysore, participated in the event hosted by the Department of Commerce.
During the event, Prof. D Chennappa, head of the Department of Commerce, mentioned the department’s efforts in organizing meetings for research scholars and supervisors to discuss progress and address research challenges. He also emphasized the importance of diligence and ethical standards in research. Prof. Indrakanti Sekhar encouraged inter-disciplinary collaboration and suggested inviting experts from other fields to enhance scholars’ research work.
Senior prof Appa Rao, president of the Indian Accounting Association, highlighted the significance of presentation skills, sticking to timelines, and producing high-quality, original research. These aspects were emphasized as vital for success in the field of research.
