Palakurthi MLA M Yashaswini Reddy criticized MLC K Kavitha for talking about women’s issues, saying it was ridiculous. She mentioned that Kavitha had not shown much concern for women’s welfare when her party was in power and only started talking about it recently.

Yashaswini also accused Kavitha of trying to use women’s issues for political gain by reviving Jagruthi after her party lost power. She emphasized that the Congress government was already working towards empowering women and there was no need for Kavitha to make such efforts.
