    In Hyderabad, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy warned those hindering development projects, such as Metro expansion, may face consequences like being excluded from Telangana. He made these comments while inaugurating the Bairamalguda flyover costing around Rs 190 crore. Some political leaders are trying to disrupt Congress government’s development initiatives, including Metro expansion.

    Revanth Reddy emphasized the Congress government’s commitment to the Mega Master Plan of ‘Vibrant Telangana’ for overall development. The plan divides Telangana into three categories for infrastructural projects. Tenders have been invited for cluster development with discussions ongoing with international firms. The Master Plan will be made public to ensure transparency and participation.

    The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s efforts in developing the state, including extending the Metro rail network to the airport for the benefit of commuters. Plans for Musi Riverfront development project costing Rs 40,000-50,000 crore were also discussed to revive the abandoned Musi River. These projects are part of the vision for ‘Vibrant Telangana 2050.’

    Revanth Reddy inaugurated Sewage Treatment plants at Nallacheruvu and Peddacheruvu at Uppal, emphasizing the need to tackle encroachments on government lands and lakes. Strong action will be taken against those involved in such activities to preserve public resources.
