President Draupadi Murmu will inaugurate the three-day ‘Global Spiritual Festival’ in Hyderabad on March 15. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar will participate in the closing session on March 16.
The event is organized by the Union Culture Ministry and hosted by the Global Guide of Heartfulness. Prominent singer Shankar Mahadevan will perform a music concert on March 14, with spiritual sessions scheduled for March 17.
Ramachandra Mission president Daji Kamlesh Patel emphasized the unity of all religions and the importance of spreading peace. Tridandi Sri Chinnajeer Swamy praised the event for bringing together spiritual leaders from around the world.
Bodhamayananda of Ramakrishna Math described the event as a universal spiritual union, focusing on the common aspects of different religions. Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy highlighted India’s unique spiritual diversity and the global interest in practices like yoga and meditation.
The Global Spiritual Mahotsav aims to promote world peace by embracing the essence of all religions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for spreading love, peace, and unity globally is a key inspiration for the event.
