Union Minister G Kishan Reddy emphasized the importance of India’s culture, traditions, and languages as the country’s identity and existence during the National Cultural Festival in Hyderabad. He noted that India’s soft power lies in its rich cultural heritage, which serves as a symbol of unity in diversity due to the presence of various cultures in different states.
Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the government has been actively working to preserve and promote the country’s culture and heritage through initiatives like the “National Cultural Mahotsav.” This event aims to showcase arts and culture while raising awareness about the significance of Indian cultural heritage and encouraging pride in it.
One of the key pledges made by the Prime Minister is to preserve India’s culture and traditions and move away from a colonial slave mindset. The National Cultural Mahotsav plays a crucial role in achieving these goals by highlighting the importance of embracing and showcasing Indian culture, speaking in one’s mother tongue, and respecting it.
Minister Reddy expressed gratitude to Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan for her presence at the event and commended ministry officials for their efforts in organizing the festival and bringing together talented artists.
