The TSRTC in Hyderabad has won five National Bus Transport Excellence Awards in various categories selected by ASRTU. The award ceremony will take place in New Delhi on March 15.
The State-run transport service will receive awards for road safety, efficient fuel management, employee safety, and technical efficiency for the year 2022-23. TSRTC was ranked first in road safety, fuel efficiency in rural areas, employee welfare, and use of technology. It came second in fuel efficiency in urban areas.
Transportation Minister Ponnam Prabhakar is pleased with TSRTC’s success in winning five awards across different categories. He credits the hard work and dedication of the corporation’s staff for this achievement.
