In Hyderabad, the State government will soon release a ‘white paper’ on the Dharani portal, similar to those on Irrigation, Finance, and Energy departments. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy made this announcement at a seminar on ‘Telangana Punarnirmanam’ in Osmania University. He criticized the Dharani portal scheme as poorly implemented and alleged that it was designed to encroach government lands.

Reddy stated that the Dharani portal has caused trouble for even small farmers with five guntas of land. He mentioned that there were 2.45 lakh pending applications related to Revenue and Dharani across the State. Special camps will be held at mandal offices from March 1 to 7 to clear these applications.
