Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, calling his actions worse than those of 100 villains from ancient stories. He made these remarks while distributing conveyance deeds to 31.19 lakh poor women beneficiaries in Ongole.
The Chief Minister praised the ‘Navratanalu Pedalandariki Illu’ Scheme as historic but highlighted the challenges faced in its implementation. He accused Naidu of filing over a thousand court cases to obstruct the state government from providing houses to the poor, showing a lack of concern for their welfare.
Jagan also criticized Naidu for opposing house site distribution in Amaravati and making disparaging remarks against marginalized communities. He urged people not to fall for false promises from TDP and Naidu’s associates.
The Chief Minister claimed that Naidu had lost support from his family and the people of Andhra Pradesh. He emphasized Naidu’s failure to fulfill promises made to farmers and self-help groups, urging voters to consider the YSRCP’s track record in the upcoming elections.
Jagan expressed pride in granting property rights to impoverished women through the scheme, ensuring they have full ownership of their homes. The government invested in land acquisition and infrastructure development to support the initiative, aiming to empower the poor.
Beneficiaries of the scheme expressed gratitude towards CM Jagan for fulfilling their dreams of homeownership, noting the positive impact on their lives. The Chief Minister emphasized his commitment to providing equal opportunities to all sections of society, ensuring justice is not reserved only for the privileged.
