Several Maharashtra leaders have been leaving the BRS party due to their dissatisfaction with the lack of direction and vision from chief K Chandrashekar Rao during the crucial time of Lok Sabha elections. These leaders are questioning why they were asked to fund party activities when there was no plan for expansion in the State. It seems that KCR is not interested in continuing politics in neighboring States, as he has not been giving time to leaders from other States since the setback in the Assembly elections. Despite attempts to meet with KCR through the party’s in-charge Vamshidhar Rao, these leaders have not been able to secure appointments.
One senior leader, Dileep Gore, expressed his unhappiness with KCR’s silence by writing a letter. He mentioned that while other parties were actively preparing for the LS elections by finalizing candidates and discussing alliances and strategies, there were no such meetings happening within BRS in Maharashtra or Hyderabad. This lack of direction and vision has led Gore to consider resigning from the party.
Another Maharashtra BRS leader voiced his displeasure with the party’s lack of seriousness in the State by sending a voice message to the leadership. He mentioned being pressured into taking up membership and forming committees, only to be left with unanswered questions from members who joined the party based on promises that have not been fulfilled. This leader, along with several others, are feeling neglected and are considering leaving the party due to its silence and lack of communication from the leadership.
Overall, the BRS party in Maharashtra is facing a crisis as several leaders have already left and more are considering shifting their loyalties elsewhere. The silence and lack of direction from KCR during this crucial time have left many party members feeling uncertain about the future.
