The extended executive meeting of the Bharat Rashtra Samiti...

BRS leaders in Hyderabad accused both Congress and BJP of being the same during a press conference. They questioned why BJP leaders were not criticizing the ruling party’s unfulfilled promises, while targeting Congress. Former minister S Niranjan Reddy expressed disappointment in BJP’s silence on Congress’s unkept guarantees.

According to BRS, Congress has not fulfilled most of its election promises, except for the free bus service. The people of the State have not seen any benefits, and the government has not addressed concerns raised in the Assembly. The budget did not allocate funds as promised by Congress, making their assurances seem impossible to implement. BRS leaders criticized attempts to tarnish their image by highlighting failures like the Medigadda piers.

BRS pointed out that Congress has been in power in Himachal Pradesh for 15 months, in Karnataka for eight months, and in Telangana for 72 days but has not delivered on its promises. Power cuts have returned after nine years, and BRS demanded actions on guarantees like Rythu Bandu, Rythu Beema, and bonuses for farmers.

The party vowed to continue pressuring the government for solutions on issues like power, water, crop procurement, and bonuses for paddy farmers.
