State Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao expressed his concern about farmers not effectively using advancements in agricultural technology. He inaugurated the CII AGRI TECH South 2024 and AGRI VISION 2024 events, urging the CII to organize similar events in different districts and mandals to reach farmers directly.
The Minister emphasized that the state’s progress depends on the happiness and prosperity of its farmers. M Raghunandan Rao, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, highlighted the government’s focus on agriculture and farmers, including initiatives like setting up audio-visual facilities at different administrative levels.
At the event, the CII Telangana – EY White Paper on Revolutionising Telangana’s Agriculture: A Digital Approach was released. This White Paper explores how technologies like Artificial Intelligence, remote sensing, and robotics can transform agriculture in Telangana, aiming to create a sustainable and productive farming environment.
