Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shoban Reddy and her husband Mothe Shoban Reddy, the BRS Trade Union Cell president, recently met with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills. This comes after former Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin joined the Congress and former Mayor Bonthu Rammohan visited the CM’s residence. The couple is trying to secure the Secunderabad ticket, but they have been unhappy with the BRS since they were denied tickets for the Assembly polls in Malkajgiri constituency.

They attempted to meet former CM and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, but despite having an appointment, they were unable to meet him and waited for hours in vain. Srilatha’s absence from an emergency meeting of corporators at Telangana Bhavan further demonstrates their dissatisfaction with the party leadership. She is also sharing her political move by posting pictures in official WhatsApp groups handled by the corporation to keep the GHMC informed.
