The president of BRS Hanumakonda district, D Vinay Bhaskar, expressed his disagreement with the State government’s decision to remodel the State emblem. He believes that removing the welcome arch of the Kakatiya era and Charminar from the emblem is an attempt to distort history and brand them as signs of two political systems. Vinay criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for not understanding the significance of these historical symbols and accused him of joining forces with anti-Telangana forces. He called on two women ministers, Konda Surekha and Seethakka, who belong to Warangal, to oppose the government’s move. Vinay also viewed this decision as a tactic by the Congress to divert attention from their failure to fulfill election promises.
