Seven children in the pediatric ward at Machilipatnam Government Hospital had minor reactions after receiving Amoxyclav injections. Out of the 15 children in the ward, nine were being treated. After getting the injections, seven of them complained of colds, nausea, and fever. They were quickly moved to the Intensive Care Unit and their condition has since stabilized.

The hospital has followed standard procedure by handing over the injection vials to the Pharmacovigilance department. Doctors are closely monitoring the children’s health.
