    Union Minister Kishan Reddy recently visited Secunderabad Railway Station to check on the ongoing development works. The station is being upgraded at a cost of Rs 750 crore to become a modern facility similar to an international airport.

    During his inspection, Minister Reddy observed the progress of various projects including multi-level parking, restrooms, and rooftop railway trap platforms.

    Speaking to the media, Minister Reddy expressed his satisfaction with the rapid progress of the development works at Secunderabad Railway Station. He emphasized that the main goal is to ensure convenience for passengers and that the station will be completed by November 2025. He also mentioned the progress of the Charlapalli terminal and said that Prime Minister Modi will be invited to inaugurate it.

    Minister Reddy also highlighted plans to establish new railway stations near areas connected by the regional ring road. The upgraded station will have 22 lifts, over 30 escalators, and foot over bridges for direct entry and exit of passengers.
