The Telangana Government has transferred 10 IAS officials and assigned them to different departments. M Hanumantha Rao, a 2013 batch IAS official, has been appointed as the Special Commissioner to the Information and Public Relations (I and PR) department. Previously, Hanumantha Rao held the position of Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural development.
K Ashok Reddy, the current I and PR Commissioner, has been transferred as the Director of the Horticulture department.
B.Bala Maya Devi, the Chief Rationing Officer in Hyderabad, has been transferred and appointed as the Commissioner of BC Welfare. Anita Ramachandran, Secretary of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), has been transferred to the post of Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural development.
B Gopi, the Director of Agriculture, has been placed as the FAC of the post of Commissioner of Fisheries, replacing Lachiram Bhukya, who has been transferred to their parent cadre. A Nirmala Kanthi Wesley, the MD of TS Christian Minorities Finance Corporation, has been transferred and appointed as the Director of WCD & SC Development, as well as the Managing Director of Women Finance Corporation.
Dr. E.Naveen Nicolas, Secretary to Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) & Secretary to Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institution Society (TTWREIS), has been transferred and appointed as the Secretary of Telangana State Public Service Commission.
IAS official K. Seetha Lakshmi, who was waiting for a posting, has been assigned as the Secretary of TSWREIS and TTWREIS.
G.Phaneendra Reddy, an IAS official also waiting for a posting, has been assigned as the Chief Rationing Officer in Hyderabad. VSNV Prasad, the Director of Nehro Zoo park, has been transferred and assigned as the Director of the Civil Supplies department.
