Hyderabad Police Commissioner Kothakota Srinivas Reddy has made a significant decision to clean up the Panjagutta police station by replacing all of its staff. A total of 85 personnel, ranging from inspectors to home guards, have been transferred by the Hyderabad CP. This action is believed to be a response to the leakage of important information and the involvement of former Bhodan MLA Shakeel. There were allegations that the staff of Panjagutta Police Station were passing on information to former government officials. The CP has appointed new personnel from various police stations in the city to replace the transferred staff. This is the first time that such a large number of personnel have been transferred from a single police station, and 82 new postings have already been made.
