Parchuru TDP MLA Yeluri Sambasiva Rao has been accused of bribing voters during the 2019 elections. The complaint was filed after a search operation at the office of Nova AgriTech Ltd, where Sambasiva Rao is the chairman. The accused include Yeluri Sambasiva Rao, Pullela Ajay Babu, Appa Rao, Baji Babu, and Sai Ganesh. The case was registered after getting permission from the court.

During the search at the company’s premises, a diary was found with handwritten entries that showed cash being used to bribe voters in the 2019 general elections. The entries spanned 13 pages and indicated that large amounts of money were illegally distributed to voters through unknown sources before the election date of April 11, 2019.
