Telugu Desam supremo N Chandrababu Naidu narrowly avoided a fall at his party meeting in Rajamahendravaram. Chaos erupted as TDP leader Boddu Venkata Ramana’s supporters protested against Naidu’s decision to allot the Rajanagaram Assembly seat to Jana Sena. Pawan Kalyan, the president of Jana Sena, had already announced candidates for Rajanagaram and Razole seats in response to TDP’s announcement of two other seats. The situation became so intense that Naidu was on the verge of falling off the stage but was saved by security personnel.
The tension between TDP and Jana Sena has been building up in the East Godavari district, as both parties have numerous aspirants vying for MLA tickets. Pawan Kalyan expressed his frustration with the TDP’s treatment, but did not respond to Nara Lokesh’s statement about the Chief Minister position.
