Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that the Congress government is committed to ensuring an effective revenue system at the village level. He made these remarks while launching the diary and calendar of the Telangana Tahsildars Association and Deputy Collectors Association at his office in Banjara Hills.

Reddy criticized the previous government for damaging the revenue system by eliminating the roles of VRAs (Village Revenue Assistants) and VROs (Village Revenue Officers). He also accused the previous government of favoring certain individuals through the Dharani portal, which caused problems for ordinary people. Reddy assured that the current government aims to address these issues and called on officials to actively participate in resolving problems faced by original property owners.
