The Director General of Police in Hyderabad, Ravi Gupta, asked traffic police officers for their input on how to improve traffic in Greater Hyderabad. He wants to find effective measures to regulate and enhance traffic for the convenience of the public. This includes implementing visible policing and providing modern training for traffic personnel.

Gupta recently reviewed the traffic situation in Greater Hyderabad with senior police officers at his office. During the review, traffic police officials gave a Power Point presentation on the traffic conditions around new skywalks and flyovers in GHMC limits. They also discussed the state of bridges in the Musi River area, proposed traffic awareness programs, and the need for a training center.
