The Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) recently hosted a Traffic Forum felicitation event to recognize and appreciate the efforts of Traffic Farishtey Volunteers and promote road safety. A total of 45 volunteers were felicitated during the event.
During the event, the Hyderabad City police and Chairman HCSC Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy launched the Free Left Boards, a measure aimed at improving traffic flow and enhancing road safety. The initiative was supported by HCSC. Additionally, an ambulance donated by VST Private Limited was also inaugurated.
The event included an overview of HCSC activities and programs by Chaitanya Gorrepati, Secretary General HCSC, induction of new members, and speeches by the organizers. Rajashekar Reddy, Joint Secretary for HCSC Traffic Forum, highlighted the achievements of the Traffic Forum and emphasized the importance of community involvement in promoting responsible traffic habits.
P Viswa Prasad, Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Convenor, HCSC, urged citizens to join the Traffic Farishtey program and emphasized the collective responsibility for road safety. The launch of Free Left Boards was a significant step towards improving traffic management in Hyderabad.
During the event, 40 Traffic Farishtey volunteers and 5 traffic leaders were felicitated for their crucial role in ensuring smooth traffic flow and creating awareness about road safety. The commissioner expressed appreciation for their collective efforts in making the community safer.
The Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) is a not-for-profit society launched by the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate in collaboration with various establishments, government bodies, and citizens across different zones of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. Its aim is to promote safety and security by involving all stakeholders of the community.
