Senior BRS leader T Harish Rao said that the recent election results were just a setback for the party and that the BRS will come back to power in Telangana. Speaking at a preparatory meeting for the Mahabubabad Lok Sabha constituency, Rao highlighted the development of Telangana under BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao’s leadership. He assured party activists that a trust would be set up to benefit them and their children, and a party legal cell would be established to assist activists facing legal issues.
Rao emphasized that it was KCR who brought a medical college to Mahabubabad, making it one of a kind in the country. He accused Congress leaders of spreading false information during the campaign and urged party leaders to address this during discussions with the people. Rao also criticized the Congress for failing to fulfill its promises, such as the loan waiver and bonus for paddy farmers.
Regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Rao called on party leaders to work hard and raise any issues they have. He questioned the effectiveness of the State BJP chief G Kishan Reddy as a Union minister and pledged to fill party positions at the district and mandal level.
