BJP OBC Morcha commemorates the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule

The national president of BJP OBC Morcha, K Laxman, paid tribute to Savitribai Phule, who was the first woman teacher and worked for women’s education. He mentioned that Savitribai fought against various social issues such as discrimination against widows and the killing of infants. Laxman also highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working towards empowering women in all fields, including education, medicine, and politics. He mentioned the efforts made through self-help groups to make women self-reliant and mentioned women holding important positions in the government. Laxman also mentioned the financial support provided to women through interest-free loans. He concluded by mentioning the abolition of Triple Talaq to give freedom to Muslim women.
