Senior Congress leader V Hanumanth Rao believes that YSRCP chief YS Sharmila will succeed in Andhra Pradesh politics. He expressed this opinion during a media interaction at Gandhi Bhavan. VH had previously stated that Sharmila should fight in the places where she had lost, so her entry into AP politics would bring about a change in people’s thinking. He also emphasized the need to strengthen the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh and mentioned that AP Congress leaders have invited Sharmila.
VH also commented on the Congress party’s government in Telangana. He praised Sonia Gandhi’s announcement of six guarantee schemes and stated that the people of Telangana responded strongly to the ruling BRS party. CM Revanth Reddy played a crucial role in highlighting the injustices committed by the previous government and gathering public opposition against KCR. VH expressed confidence in the support of the people and stated that they must win a majority of seats in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Telangana.
In response to former minister Harish Rao’s criticisms of the State government, VH accused the KCR government of seizing land from the poor under the guise of the Dharani portal. However, he assured that all the promises made by their party would be fulfilled in due time.
