Hyderabad: Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy questioned whether former CM K Chandrashekar Rao sought advice from actual engineers for construction projects. A group of five ministers, including Komatireddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, inspected the Medigadda barrage as part of the Kaleswaram project. During the inspection, officials presented a power point presentation to the ministers. Komatireddy expressed surprise at the presentation and questioned whether the projects were designed by engineers or by KCR himself.
Komatireddy criticized the project and stated that there was no need for a third TMC at the location. He emphasized that engineers should represent the people’s interests, regardless of whether it is the Chief Minister or other ministers. He also criticized the completion of Pranahita and Gauravelli projects, suggesting that they were done for political gain by the Congress party.
Additionally, Komatireddy expressed concerns about the use of electricity for Kaleswaram and questioned why the previous government failed to provide clarity when the Madigadda collapsed. He called for a clear message to be sent to farmers regarding these issues.
