The Congress government in Hyderabad is working hard to fulfill the promises it made during the elections. As part of this effort, the Abhaya Hastam program was launched in the Secretariat on Wednesday morning. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka released the application form for six guarantees.
CM Revanth unveiled the Prajapalana logo, and a proforma of six guarantees was created for public administration. Acceptance of applications for these guarantees will begin tomorrow and continue until January 6. The government has made arrangements to distribute these application forms to all villages, municipalities, and corporation wards across the state.
The first page of the application contains the applicant’s details and address, such as name, gender, caste, Aadhaar card number, mobile number, and address. The second page is for providing details about the government guarantee schemes.
To avail the benefits of various government guarantee schemes, applicants need to fill in the necessary details. For example, under the Mahalakshmi scheme, women will receive Rs. 2,500 financial assistance and a gas cylinder worth Rs. 500. Other schemes include free electricity up to 200 units under the Grihajyoti scheme and Indiramma houses. Applicants only need to make a single application to apply for these schemes.
From tomorrow until January 6th, applications can be submitted at the public administration conference. Officials will also deliver applications door-to-door and inform applicants of the specific day to come. Each ward will have four areas where applications will be received.
Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Duddilla Sridhar Babu conducted a review of the program and arrangements for public administration on Tuesday. Those who are already beneficiaries do not need to reapply. However, if there are complaints about double bedroom houses, the government plans to conduct re-verification.
