Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, will release a special postal cover to honor the 100th anniversary of Justice Konda Madhav Reddy. The release ceremony will take place at AV College in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Justice Konda Madhav Reddy had served as the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai High Courts and was also the Governor of Maharashtra. The Chairman of Justice Konda Madhav Reddy Foundation, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, stated that the special postal cover is a significant event that reflects the life, work, and values of Justice Konda Madhav Reddy.
In preparation for the Vice-President’s visit, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari instructed officials to make thorough arrangements. A coordination meeting was held on Saturday to discuss the necessary arrangements. As this is the Vice-President’s first visit to the state, Kumari directed the arrangement of a police band and a guard of honor. Adequate security, traffic management, and other arrangements should also be made according to the blue book guidelines.
Various departments, including Health, R&B, GHMC, and Energy, were instructed to work together and ensure a smooth and effective visit for the dignitary.
