    EC hosts contests to emphasize the significance of voting

    The Election Commission has organized various programs to raise awareness about democracy and voting. As part of these efforts, they held competitions under Creathon. On Friday, Telangana Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj and President of HYSEA Manisha Saboo presented cheques to the winners at the CEO’s office. A total of 12 winners were awarded, with 4 receiving first prizes of Rs.20,000 each and 8 receiving second prizes of Rs.10,000 each.

    The Creathon-2 competitions took place in two phases in October. The first phase aimed to encourage eligible voters to register in large numbers, while the second phase aimed to urge them to vote on election day. These programs were jointly conducted by the CEO and HYSEA.

    The winners in the Video category were MAJawad, Vadai Vijay, Rakesh Konapakala, Omer Osman Ali, Sriramula Bhavani, and Vamshi Muthyapu. In the Info-graphic category, the winners were Sandeep Jakkula, Vaddepally Venkatesh, Wajeed Ullah Khan, Shirisha, Denchanala Arun, and Mallesh Yasarla. These winners were selected from a total of 459 entries for the photo category and 132 entries for the video category.

    Several officials from HYSEA, CEO office, Code TANTRA, and TASK attended the Creathon-2 meeting.
