Hyderabad: Deshapati Srinivas, a BRS MLC, claimed that the Congress and BJP had worked together to hand over seven mandals of Telangana, along with the Siler project, to Andhra Pradesh. He spoke about this during a press conference at the Assembly media point. Srinivas pointed out that while there were many Congress members in the Rajya Sabha, none of them questioned the inclusion of the seven mandals in AP. Only one member from the BRS, K Keshava Rao, raised concerns about this undemocratic decision by the Centre. In addition, Srinivas criticized former minister T Jeevan Reddy for targeting T Harish Rao over his mention of former PM PV Narasimha Rao. Srinivas defended Harish Rao’s right to talk about the injustice done to PV and questioned why there is no memorial for him in Delhi like other late PMs. Srinivas also mentioned that Jeevan Reddy has the right to become a minister and has the respect of senior leaders.
