Former DSP Nalini Reddy, who gave up her top police job during the Telangana movement, may soon have the opportunity to rejoin the government services. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to explore ways to bring Nalini back into the workforce.

The Chief Minister has asked the Chief Secretary and DGP to make arrangements for Nalini’s re-entry if she is interested. If the police department guidelines do not allow her reinstatement, the CM has suggested offering her a position in another department.

Revanth pointed out that many people have resigned from their jobs, contested elections, and then returned to their positions after losing. He believes that Nalini, who sacrificed her job for the cause of Telangana, should not face any objections. In his view, it would be unfair to treat her differently from other leaders who were given posts after resigning for the Telangana State.
