The Telangana government has decided to hold meetings in villages and towns every month to address people’s grievances. This initiative aims to reduce the number of visitors to the Prajavani in Hyderabad and solve issues at the local level. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has also directed officials to study specific time allotments and special permissions for people who come to lodge grievances at DrBR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.

A high-level review meeting was chaired by the Chief Minister at the Secretariat, attended by various officials. It was discussed that holding local meetings in villages and towns for one or two days in the first week of every month would help address people’s grievances immediately, reducing their need to visit Hyderabad. The officials were instructed to work diligently and establish good relations between the government and the people.

The Chief Minister also emphasized the need to digitize all appeals and complaints, keeping the people informed of their status. For Prajavani, the officials were asked to increase the number of tables for receiving complaints and provide basic facilities such as safe drinking water. The CM also instructed officials to receive visitors with care and utilize the services of trainee IAS officers.

Overall, these measures aim to make it easier for people to voice their concerns and for the government to address them promptly.
