Deputy Transport Commissioner Mamindla Chandra Shekhar Goud has instructed the officials of the combined Karimnagar district Transport Department to improve their services for motorists. One suggestion is to strengthen the help desks in the Transport department offices and make sure that motorists are aware of the online services provided through T APP Folio.
The revenue targets of District wise MVI’s were reviewed during the meeting. It was reported that Karimnagar district earned Rs 90.81 crore, Peddapally district earned Rs 50.50 crore, Jagtial earned Rs 37.53 crore, and Rajanna Sircilla earned Rs 24.40 crore. Overall, the total income for Karimnagar district was Rs 202.88 crore.
For RTA Offices that do not have their own buildings, officials are advised to contact the relevant Collector and make efforts to secure a place. Additionally, there is a need for extensive awareness programs on road safety in the future. Motorists were warned that failing to pay quarterly taxes could result in heavy fines and vehicle impoundment.
Transportation Ponnam Prabhakar, who was appointed as the Transport and BC Welfare Minister, was warmly welcomed at the Timpapur Transport Department office by the officials. They also conveyed greetings on behalf of the combined Karimnagar district.
The meeting was attended by various Transport department officials and office staff from the four districts.
