The Telangana State Assembly is going to be renovated to provide better facilities. The Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, wants to improve security and infrastructure, such as gardens, vehicle parking, and separate gates for visitors and VIPs. He visited the Assembly and Council buildings with his cabinet colleagues and officials to review the facilities. The Chief Minister instructed the officials to come up with a renovation plan and suggested that all other buildings be removed to create a single campus. Some structures will be demolished to create a central hall similar to the Parliament. The government plans to renovate the existing structures instead of constructing new ones. The Chief Minister wants the renovations to be completed by the next budget session in March 2024. He also wants special parking for legislators and media, as well as a dining hall and other facilities for the legislators during sessions.
