The Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID) has filed a case in the United States after Babu Rao filed a complaint regarding the suspicious death of his son, Ganguri Srinath. Babu Rao accused Srinath’s wife, Sai Charani, as well as his uncle, Sukhavasi Srinivasa Rao, and aunt, Rajashri, of conspiring to kill his son.

In December 2016, Srinath and Sai Charani got married. Srinath worked at Daveta’s company in Virginia Way and settled there with his wife, who came on a dependent visa. However, Charani claimed that she was forced into the marriage by her parents and threatened to kill Srinath.

After learning about this issue from his son, Babu Rao approached Srinivasa Rao for help in calming his daughter down. For a while, Charani seemed to be doing fine but then started behaving strangely.

Tragically, Srinath passed away on October 16, 2022. Srinath’s parents traveled to the US along with Charani’s parents for the funeral. However, Charani did not allow them to attend. When Srinath’s parents asked Charani about the cause of their son’s death, she claimed that they had gone trekking to Yonohills for two days and that Srinath had fallen into a valley.

Babu Rao attempted to file a complaint with the police, but Charani and her parents threatened them and sent them back to India. As a result, Babu Rao sought help from the AP CID, who have now registered a case.
