Efforts are being made to improve the facilities for devotees attending the Sammakka Saralamma jatara in Medaram, Warangal. Minister Danasari Anasuya, also known as Seethakka, held a meeting with officials to discuss preparations for the four-day jatara, which will take place from February 21, 2024. The minister emphasized the importance of providing comfortable accommodation, clean drinking water, sanitation, and electricity supply for the devotees. She also stressed the need to promote tribal culture and traditions during the jatara. Seethakka mentioned that the State Government will try to obtain national status for the Medaram jatara from the Central Government. She instructed the ITDA officials to coordinate with local authorities to ensure smooth arrangements for the event. The minister assured the officials that they could contact her if they faced any difficulties in their duties.
