Delegates and leaders from various States had a difficult time reaching the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad due to heavy traffic. The traffic came to a standstill because of the large number of people and party activists heading to the venue for the oath-taking ceremony of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

To manage the flow of vehicles, the city police redirected traffic to other roads but faced challenges during the ceremony. Revanth Reddy had encouraged all party workers to attend, resulting in a huge turnout of people and vehicles. This created a major traffic jam at L B Stadium and surrounding areas.

VIP and VVIP convoys, including the State Governor’s and Karnataka Chief Minister’s, were also stuck in traffic. Some VIPs, MLAs, and delegates had to walk to reach the stadium. The slow-moving traffic continued until 6 pm, worsening after the ceremony ended.

Party leaders who couldn’t reach on time watched the ceremony on giant screens outside the stadium. Additional police personnel were deployed to clear haphazardly parked vehicles and ensure traffic flow.

Ambulances were also stuck in traffic, with drivers unable to do much except blare their sirens. TSRTC buses were diverted onto narrow alternative roads. Despite prior warnings from the police about traffic snarls, motorists were surprised to find some main roads blocked.

A traffic advisory was issued by the police to inform the public about slowdowns and jams around L B Stadium.
