The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, is celebrating its centenary. To mark this occasion, they will be investing Rs 17.5 crore in a multisport facility and Rs 10 crore in an innovation center for entrepreneurship. During a recent press meet, the school officials announced the launch of the HPS Connect App, which will connect the entire HPS community and provide access to the campus during the centenary celebrations. The app can be found on Facebook and the Play Store.
The centenary celebrations will last for four days and will include over 50 events and activities. The grand finale will feature a live concert by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy. The finale will begin on December 19 and may be graced by President Droupadi Murmu. On the same day, the HPS museum will also be inaugurated. The initial programs will take place from December 24 to 27.
During the four-day grand finale, the school aims to raise Rs 17.5 crore for a new sports center. This is part of their Vision 2050 to raise Rs 150 crore for development plans. Additionally, the school is collaborating with T-Hub to construct an innovation center for Rs 10 crore to promote entrepreneurship and innovation culture at the school level.
The grand finale week will kick off with an HPS centenary dinner on December 24 at the Taj Falaknuma Palace. The following three days will be filled with various activities such as a carnival, museum exhibits, an entrepreneurship summit, a sports reunion, a golf tournament, and much more.
