Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has taken a big step towards digital transformation by implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project. This project aims to improve operational efficiency and provide better services to passengers. The TSRTC MD, VC Sajjanar, and CEO of Nalsoft Private Limited, Nalluri Venkat, launched the Centralised Integrated Solution (CIS) project at the corporate office in Bus Bhavan. The CIS project uses the latest Oracle ERP application and integrates modules like Finance, HRMS, SCM, EAM, PayRoll, and Depot Operations.
TSRTC operates a vast network of 9,000 plus buses and serves around 45 lakh passengers daily. It connects approximately 10,000 towns and villages with its services. To keep up with technological advancements, TSRTC has initiated the CIS project, which is a state-of-the-art ERP system. The project was completed successfully in just 10 months after signing an MOU with Nalsoft Private Limited.
Sajjanar mentioned that TSRTC implemented the ERP project within a record time of 10 months. The CIS project allows for effective revenue management and cost control. It ensures data integrity, centralized data availability, data security, optimum manpower utilization, and enables faster decision making.
Nalluri Venkat expressed his satisfaction with the completion of the project, highlighting its significance as the first of its kind in Indian state transport undertakings. YNV Trinadha Babu of Hansa Equity Partners stated that technology is essential for the progress of any organization. He also mentioned that the CIS project will make management activities easier for TSRTC.
The CIS Project includes streamlining HR functions, centralizing PayRoll management, digitalizing core finance functions, and integrating modules for faster information flow and decision making. It also improves maintenance activities at depots, workshops, retreading shops, and body building units. Real-time data updates, comprehensive reporting, and enhanced visibility across the organization are key features of the CIS Project.
