    In a historic event, members of the transgender community voted for the first time at the Government High School polling station in Subhashnagar, Karimnagar town. They proudly showed their photo ID cards and were excited to take part in the democratic process.

    The district administration registered 58 transgender individuals to vote, with most of them located in the Karimnagar Assembly sector. Others were registered in Choppadandi, Manakondur, and Huzurabad. The district authorities made sure that these individuals received their ID cards, and the transgender voters expressed their gratitude for this opportunity to exercise their right to vote.

    Pamela Satpathy, the District Election Officer and Collector, congratulated the transgender community for actively participating in the electoral process. The polling station also had the presence of DRDO Srilatha, DWO Saraswathi, and other officials.
