The police in Hyderabad have denied permission for the BRS party to hold a Deeksha Diwas event at Telangana Bhavan. The BRS leaders wanted to observe this event to celebrate their party Chief K Chandrashekar Rao’s anniversary. They planned to organize a blood donation program at the party office, but the police objected, saying it goes against the code of conduct. The BRS legal cell head argued that they had permission from the Election Commission and that other parties also hold events in their offices. The BRS working president is expected to visit Telangana Bhavan soon.
