Union Home Minister Amit Shah has promised to revitalize the economic landscape of Mulugu if Dr Ajmira Prahlad, the BJP’s candidate, wins the upcoming elections. Shah made this pledge during a large gathering called the ‘Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha’ in Mulugu district. He assured the establishment of a paper factory and the restoration of key infrastructure, showing the BJP’s commitment to the welfare of adivasis and tribals.

Shah addressed concerns raised by Dr Prahlad about the closure of a paper factory in Mangapet mandal under the Congress government. He promised to renovate and re-establish the factory. The BJP rally also highlighted concerns about funds allocated for a National Tribal University in Mulugu. Shah promised an additional Rs 300 crores if Dr Prahlad emerges victorious.
