    Hyderabad Police have filed a case against MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi for obstructing a police officer’s duty and promoting hatred between different groups. The case was registered at Santosh Nagar Police Station under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Representation of the People Act.

    Akbaruddin Owaisi, who is running for re-election in Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency, was giving a speech at a public meeting on Tuesday night. When he noticed a police inspector near the stage, he told the officer that there were still five minutes remaining. He then made a comment suggesting that the officer should leave and made additional remarks about his own courage and previous attempts on his life.
