The BJP Tamil Nadu chief Annamalai has urged the voters of Telangana to consider choosing the BJP as an alternative to the current dynastic parties. He stated that these parties have led the states into debt and hindered their progress. Annamalai highlighted the similarities between Tamil Nadu and Telangana, both burdened with large amounts of debt. He also pointed out issues such as the lack of functional toilets in government schools and the high revenue generated from liquor sales. Corruption was another concern he raised, stating that dynastic parties dominate the direction and future of the states.

Annamalai questioned the claims of Telangana being an IT Hub, stating that the state has attracted significantly less investment compared to Karnataka. He also mentioned incidents such as the intermediate exam results controversy and TSPSC question paper leaks, which have affected the aspirations of Telangana’s youth. Corruption allegations were also raised regarding contracts awarded to individuals favored by the son of the Chief Minister.

Annamalai emphasized that the people of Telangana have a historic choice to make, either continue with the unsustainable debt-ridden development model or embrace the time-tested and corruption-free model of PM Narendra Modi. He stated that it is time for the BJP to come to power in Telangana and make necessary course corrections. He claimed that only the BJP can address the concerns of women, farmers, aspirational youth, and all other sections of Telangana. Annamalai also criticized the governance of Congress in various states.
