Former minister and Congress candidate Mohammad Ali Shabbir addressed a crowd in Nizamabad on Sunday. He accused Chief Minister KCR of betraying Dalits through the Dalit Bandhu initiative, claiming that corruption was benefiting only a few activists who had to pay a commission. Shabbir Ali also talked about corruption in other government schemes and promised that the Congress party would take action against those misusing public funds.
He highlighted the deteriorating conditions in the town, including drainage problems leading to mosquito infestation and health issues for residents. Shabbir Ali argued that despite the government’s claims of development, the town had not seen progress.
He questioned the Central government’s tenure, saying that the supposed improvements only benefited a few wealthy individuals like Adani and Ambani. Shabbir Ali emphasized the need for the Congress Party to win in order to bring development and support to the underprivileged.
