The security personnel in Hyderabad have seized a total of Rs 603 crore in the lead-up to the State Assembly elections. The Election Commission (EC) officials have reported that Rs 214 crore, along with liquor worth Rs 96 crore, and drugs valued at Rs 34 crore have been confiscated. Additionally, items such as gold and silver worth Rs 179 crore, rice, sarees, and mobiles totaling Rs 78 crore have also been seized.
In a statement, the Chief Electoral Officer mentioned that they have received 5,183 complaints through the Sea Whistle app. Furthermore, out of the 20,670 complaints filed with the National Grievance Redressal Service, 20,301 have been resolved.
